Veneros Pizzeria is my favorite place to eat in Clayton. They have the best pizza.My favorite is the white cheese.The manicotti will melt in your mouth.I have not ordered anything off the menu that wasn't delicious.If you havent eaten here yet then you are certainly missing out on a fantastic meal.??
Not good. The buffet table was in bad need of refreshing. The ziti was dried as if it had been on the buffet for hours. The pizza extremely mediocre at best. Very disappointing
Worst customer service ever! Staff extremely rude...a very soggy calzone....only allowed three toppings and would not even let me pay extra for one more topping. Primo pizza in Wendell...def worth the drive. Susan M
After 10 years of going there despite high prices and declining food quality we had an issue with 2 burnt pizzas. The customer service related to this was TERRIBLE! There are too many other good places to eat. We don't need them.

Still great after all these years – I am surprised at these reviews, our family has been going to this restaurant for @ 6 years at least once or twice a month, if not more. Never had a bad meal, servers always pleasant and I find the prices average. Just tried their new taste of Italy on Thursday- we loved it. It was $11 for all you can eat pasta and pizza. We had salad and dessert too. We will definitely be back on Thursday nights!
Overrated and overpriced – The pizza is ok, not great. The last few times we got takeout the pizza was way overcooked and the calzone was just alright. It's a shame because the quality used to be much better. While it is New York style food, Venero's wouldn't stand a chance if it was in NY instead of NC.
