Dropped by on a Saturday afternoon when it wasnt very busy. Tacos were good. Tables were not clean - very sticky to touch and bits of food around. Trash cabinet was stacked with trays and garbage. Disappointing first visit.
I had heard soooooooo much about Velvet tacos that maybe the hype outweighed the food. We got elote queso and the Thai one. The former was really good. We also got the fish and chips taco... the kiddo thought it was great. For me, it could have been better. The shrimp taco was good. The staff was polite and helpful. Didn't quite like the metal seating option.
Man one thing I can say about velvetaco is they have pretty good drinks enough to make you feel good but not too strong. Also I recommend getting the $25 special you get two bowls dessert and drinks and you're ready to go. Also got to get the corn and the cup whenever we see a river taco we pull over just to get the corn in the cup.
Omg Sadie was so sweet. She made sure my taco was made to perfection due to me having so many food allergies. She was amazing 🤩
