Horrible experience. My stylist, Monica, completely ruined my hair. The color is now four different shades and the cut is uneven. I had been seeing her for about 1.5 years, so this was very disappointing. I was there from 11am to 4pm and the issue was still not fixed. I understand anyone can have an off day, but instead of trying to correct the problem, she argued with me and blamed me for the result. Now I have to find another stylist to correct the color and cut. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this salon or Monica.
Velvet Lab has always been comfortable, convenient, and quick to work me in when I'm in desperate need for a cut. That said, it was a nice salon, as salons go, but unremarkable, outside of decor and a few design choices that seemed smart but forced to fit within a certain square footage. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had a horrible experience at another salon and reached out to Angela at Angela Keen Hair Extensions feeling extremely stressed and defeated. She helped me right away and went above and beyond by connecting me with Ashlyn, who even came in on her day off to help hold me over while I wait for my new hair.
