Love the food! Great pizza and fantastic calzones. The patio atmosphere is incredible with tables under a canopy of vegetation. Very intimate.

Awesome owner and customers. I arrived here after hiking 25 miles on the AZT to get here before they closed. The pizza was great and some fellow diners gave me their pizza as well when they heard me talking about my hike with the owner. Velvet aegis has been designated an “Arizona Treasure” and it is well deserved from both the warm attitude of the owner to the food itself. Would gladly stop again if back in Patagonia.
Pleasant surprise ! Just incredible. Chorizo was the best we have had in Arizona.
Velvet Elvis is the perfect stop after a day at the lake, with their "designer" pizzas you can't go wrong! I reccomend ordering te small size of several kinds (typically one marinara/red sauce, and one white sauce at minimum). Don't forget dessert, their Persian ice cream is a must. The staff is always punctual, friendly, and service is quick. I definitely will drive out of my way to make a stop here.
You can tell the ingredients were fresh and the crust was poppin. Service was good but the waiter hovered too much. Oh and ask for the Parmesan cheese cause they didn’t leave any out with the hot peppers.
This is a great place to eat in Patagonia. This is our go-to place.
