It was horrible! I understand staff wants to leave but the NP and front desk don’t care why we were there and we did just because we had a car crash and clearly ER is not needed! So they just wanted to go home and treated us like we bother them! If they don’t like what they do find a new career! Because patients care is not team # 02/25/2026! The MA was polite tho front desk and NP! Need a vacation or a new career
I would give this location 0 stars if I could. My neighbors and I have all had the exact same experience: Sentara Urgent Care fails to submit claims to insurance properly, and when caught in the error, they flat-out refuse to resubmit or fix the mistake. Instead of working with the insurance providers they claim to accept, they stonewall the patient and demand payment out of pocket. Didn’t wanna see me as a walk in when they close at 4 and I arrived at 3:40. They said they don’t have any available walk ins when the customer area was literally EMPTY. When I asked for a reason why she the receptionist couldn’t give me a straight answer and said to go to the 24/7 one another 20 minutes away. They clearly don’t care.
So fast and easy when you make sure to schedule an appointment online. I was there less than 40 minutes with prescription in hand and all tests complete. The nurse assistant was so nice and the RN Casey was awesome and made sure I understood the results of all tests taken. Highly recommend.
