Appointment offered via text message. Called to confirm that appointment the evening prior as I needed early morning appointment. I called the company first thing that morning and was told the scheduler would call me back in 10 minutes. The scheduler called me back in about 30 minutes and had given my appointment away. She was very rude. I think her name was Lindsey. Very disappointed!

Velocity Air Conditioning saved us when our heat pump stopped cooling during a heatwave! They sent a technician to our home in Palmer Ranch (Sarasota) the same afternoon. He diagnosed the issue immediately, explained our options clearly, and installed a high-efficiency AC replacement unit with new ductwork zoning. UPDATE UPDATE. They sent in the fixer today. My house is now cold. Matthew saved the day. The answering service and the too-fast not done right stuff is unhelpful in August but it was made right next day. AUG 2026: UPDATE. Hot. Not the good kind. The mad kind. 3 months later. My A/c made a loud clanking sound and shut off. I cut the power to prevent a problem and called velocity for a Monday appt. Guy comes out. I have now told 5 different ppl about the loud sound and shut off situation. Dude (nice dude) shop-vac’d the line ... read more

AUG 2026: UPDATE. Hot. Not the good kind. The mad kind. 3 months later. My A/c made a loud clanking sound and shut off. I cut the power to prevent a problem and called velocity for a Monday appt. Guy comes out. I have now told 5 different ppl about the loud sound and shut off situation. Dude (nice dude) shop-vac’d the line put the sensor back in place showed me some helpful things and left. 2 hours later it’s hot and the ac is off again. At 6 pm I called. They advertise 24/7 svc.
