Caution: We recently had Velocity at our house for an a/c tune up. During the tune up the technician informed us that the contactor for the compressor was fried. He flashed a picture from his phone and after some discussion I gave the ok to replace. He also suggested to the point of being annoying to install a surge protector for the unit.
