Another reception on 5/5/2017 and again, great time, great food and the staff was particularly outstanding and courteous. Highly recommended!
Vell's was amazing. From our first visit to the end of the wedding they were outstanding. We had our ceremony at the beautiful gazebo. The landscaping and condition of the facility is great. Our reception originally was going to be in one of the smaller halls, but with an increased list of invites we upgraded to the Gala hall. The Gala hall is gorgeous; it has a higher ceiling, great lighting, and very nice oak trim. It also hosts a separate bar area and stage for your entertainment. Vell's Party Center will not make good on thier errors & ignorance. I was supposed to have Chicken as 1 of our 3 main dishes and we received Rigatoni & Meatballs instead. The owners wife admitted her mistake and said they would make it right and then refused after wards. Vell's Sr. and Vell Jr. Sr are terrible to deal with (after they get your money). I called back to find out what they would do for us and was SCREAMED at by Vell Sr. that my "Wedding was beautiful & we were getting nothing" and hung up on me, after his wife ... read more
Wonderful place! We attended a wedding here and thought this place was spectacular! The food was excellent and the choices were great. Their roast beef was wonderful and the potato salad was awesome! Everything they served was excellent and there was plenty of it.
Quiet setting, big city service Vells has been in the Medina area for many years, starting with a small party room, and eventually adding on their Grand Ballroom. They can accomodate many different size / styles of events. Their location is great--a little off the beaten path but central enough to the Medina area. I have attended several events (manily family weddings) there, and have never been disappointed.
