I’ve seen Dr. Rao for many years now and have had nothing but a negative experience. From her not wanting my family to have a baby to refusing life saving medications. I’m very disappointed in her and would think in 2026 she would be more progressive, but sadly no. I’ve seen a new endocrinologist since and they were shocked at Rao’s decision to not provide my medication and they gave it to me immediately without hesitation. I see all the praise regarding Dr Rao however my last experience was far from compassion. I was lying on the exam bed when she entered instead inquiring if I was ok she immediately said sit in the chair it was rude lack empathy. I adjust my insulin which was against her recommendation I own that however her language was degrading and rude so I excused myself as I was leaving I made a comment to my mate. Dr. Rao is a far cry from my mother's previous endocrinologist. Our visit was very respectful, educational, and bedside manner was top tier. Also, praise was given to my mom for the things she was doing right. A positive note from your doctor can be nothing but a good thing to hear. Thank you Dr. Rao!
