I have UHC/choice insurance but received the bill in the mail as if I do not have insurance at all. Something like that never happened to me before at any other practice. I called the NYU billing dept and was told my insurance had denied a claim. Weird, I thought, so I contacted my insurance only to find out the NYU never submitted any claims. I received very courteous and professional service for my veinous ulcers and varicose veins. Dr. Maldonado and the team at NYU Langone have been superb. In particular I would like to recognize Kevin H. for his care and compassion. He made my procedures relatable and less fearful. He even took the time to give me s follow-up phone call.
