I visited Veil for a “trim.” The first photo was my reference photo for what I wanted to return to (I needed maybe an inch off), and the second photo was the result of my “trim.” As you can see, the stylist cut it WAY too short, bordering a pixie cut. I left in tears, and though no one imagines they’re going to get a bad haircut, I do blame myself in part for not saying something to her when I noticed so much hair was being cut. Regardless, just be cautious when visiting unless you’re looking for a grandmotherly look!
Got color correction done by Zuri. She did a phenomenal job better than my expectations. She is a hero who saved this girl from failed at home highlights attempt. Zuri is very patient and takes her time to understand what you want and then executes it beautifully. The staff at Veil is super nice and makes you feel so welcomed. The girl at reception (my apologies for not asking your name) made special efforts to accommodate my needs on a very short notice. I 100% recommend Veil!!
Zuri Torres is amazing! I showed her just a couple pictures of the cut and color I was thinking about, and she gave me exactly what I wanted while tailoring it perfectly to me and my hair. I have wavy/curly hair, and this is honestly the first time in my life that I’ve really loved my natural texture.
