Dr Vega takes excellent care of my diabetes and my A1C has dropped from 7.8 to 6.4 since I’ve been under her care. I finally feel like I have a doctor that can help me stay on track and treat my diabetes. I would recommend her to anyone with out any reservations.
This doctors office staff is extremely unhelpful and uninformed. They do not answer their phones and have little to no concern for the patients well being. I do not recommend this facility based on the staff.
When you make an appointment with Dr. Vega you don’t know if you are going to be seen by Dr. Vega or a fresh out of college Nurse Practitioner. Also, the waiting time is absurd

I have called the office every day for over a week to tryto schedule an appointment. The receptionist asked to take my number but never called me back, I was put on hold for over 30 minutes and then disconnected, and received an answering machine a number of times with no calls ever returned.
Will never go back. She prescribed me Metformin and told me I was pre-diabetic when my blood sugar was within normal range, and failed to mention my fatty liver at all (which can be fixed with some lifestyle changes and exercise, no medicine needed). I found all this out after I had been to the ER due to the Metformin making me so miserable (I thought my appendix was rupturing I was in so much pain!!) and another doctor for a second opinion. Time to close up shop!!
Love her! She has gotten me off high doses of unneeded meds and I feel great! She knows her stuff. Highly recommend.
I was referred to Dr. Vega and told she listens to how you are feeling, that she does not go strictly by your blood work. This is not true. She does not care how you feel. If the blood work does not indicate what you are telling her, she goes by the blood work, not by how you feel. I am totally exhausted, no energy, depressed, and a multitude of other symptoms, but this does not matter to her. DO NOT USE DR. VEGA.
Dr. Vega is very compassionate and does not rush you , She listens to all of your concerns and advises appropriately. Her office is FULLY staffed which is a huge plus , you don't have to use an App or email to communicate with her. When she moved it became a little further than I wanted to drive but after seeking help elsewhere I came back because of her and her staff.
