This place is a god send. The staff were all friendly and agreeable and polite. They were so kind to me and my dog. We came in for a paw issue, we were in and out in 30 minutes at no charge because of our situation. They've given my boy some comfort that I could not afford to give him and that is irreplacable. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
I would prefer a 10☆ option for Emma A. I called with a concern. Was able to send her a picture. She had a Dr review and called me back. Sure... she could have told me it was an emergency and to get there immediately...but she didn't. She gave me advice and suggestions, and a sense of peace that I didn't have to have another $600 er vet bill. This is the kind of ER Vet advice we need when we are in distress. Not... "you have to come in and that will be a house payment or more." Thank you Emma! You ROCK! ✊️
A few weeks ago we had to say goodbye to our sweet Wilbur at VEG, and while it was one of the hardest moments of our lives, the staff made it as peaceful and compassionate as it possibly could have been. I had a less than ideal experience here. My 14 year old dog needed to be put down and our regular vet was out of town. I called Veg ER and was told it would be $230. I did this because we all know how expensive emergency vets can be and I didn’t want any surprises. We went there filled out paperwork, paid the fee of $230 and then went through the horrible experience of putting our dog down. If you’ve been through this experience it’s the worst. I would not trust this place for any future emergency. I arrived from referral from my vet. Then I wasted nearly 5 hours with my dog here after he seemingly ate something toxic on our walk this morning. It took this many hours to accomplish diagnostics of bloodwork and X-rays with no conclusion, just that he probably ate something toxic, which was already apparent from his behavior.
