VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. I understand that unforseen circumstances can occur but being asked to reschedule my appointment even after arriving 30 minutes earlier is incredibly inconvenient. I was told that MD Veena was running behind with schedules and had a meeting afterwards which did not make sense to me because you had all the morning hours to communicate all that before I drove over there.My time is valuable, and I made arrangements to be available for this appointment only to get frustrated with their service
Dr. Malipati’s bedside manner is, at best, disappointing. Nearly every visit, her advice has been the same: “lose weight.” At my most recent appointment, I came in 35 pounds lighter with near-perfect bloodwork, and her response was, “You’re almost not obese.” As a Black woman, I know — and she should too — that BMI is a misleading and outdated measure of health. If I could have given a minus star, I would . At my last visit Dr. Malepati she kept telling me what I do not need. It is my body and I know how I feel. However I was willing to work with her since I only see her once year maybe twice , my last set of blood work no one from the office ever called to go over it with me.
