Seen where a dog that had been hit by a car was taken here, the person who brought the dog was willing to pay for the treatments, the owner said they'd pay but were 2 hours away. Police and a animal organization was involved and still this place refused to even look at the animal. Money wasn't a problem, not sure what they're reason was but they basically said to leave or they'd kill the dog. I am in such disbelief, i went there with my dog who is showing chronic internal discomfort. I sat there for about 40 mins waiting. I and a hispanic woman came around the same time. 6 white people came after with no appointments and was seen right away before us. We were is such disbelief that we left! In 2021 where we should be past racism i am so disappointed to have had such an experience! I had the worst experience ever. My dog died 4 hours after I left with a 993 dollar bill and I believe I was taken advantage of. They knew that he was dieing or they killed my dog with all the injections they gave him. I will tell everybody that this facility killed my dog. They knew he was dieing and yet they robbed me of every last dollar I had to have my dog die afterwards. Unprofessional ass holes. Thanks for killing my dog

I have been trying to find a good,reliable animal hospital to bring my pet to since I’ve moved to the area not too long ago.I heard about VCA;among others places.I’ve called a few places to inquire about different services and just general questions.When I called; I had the pleasure of speaking with a employee by the name of Bria.She was very patient with me( I asked a lot of questions lol),She was very knowledgeable & able to answer my questions sufficiently. My first visit to VCA was a little overwelming since everything was super expensive. I really appreciated the tech Bri. She was so nice and helpful by giving me plenty of options and not making me feel like I HAD to do everything all in one day. She was so sweet and genuine

Professional, caring, knowledgeable, skilled, well-equipped, open 24 hours, many specialties, courteous, These are some of what comes to mind when I think of VCA Hollywood Animal Hospital. I have been going there for years and my dogs have received many excellent services. I would not go any where else.

This was a BIG mistake - DON'T LET IT HAPPEN TO YOU. Horrible News - WESTBURY Veterinary Referral & Emergency Center of Westbury 609-5 Cantiague Rock Rd, Westbury, NY 11590 They just Euthanized a kitten. I just found a baby kitten, I was not equipped with formula & it was too late to go to a store to buy any. I made calls to friends, but, no one was able to help. I brought it to the emergency room at Westbury, as a stray feral kitten with NO owner. I was there for not even 5 minutes & I heard the kitten screaming in the bac... read more

Vet messed up a simple procedure. My wife caught the mistake and was understandably upset. Vet admitted to mistake but the hospital manager said procedure was correct. Wife had to go a 3rd time which should have 2 visits and the hospital manager and vet came to my wife and were belligerent and condescending to her even though my wife stayed quiet. This place used to be awesome, but not anymore.

It's all about profits. The care may be OK, but unless you blow your nose with $100 bills, don't waste your money here. For instance, the cost of an x-ray is already outrageous, but then you also have to pay for an outside Radiologist to interpret the x-ray. Apparently they don't trust their own vets to read an x-ray. I feel sorry for someone bringing in their pet with a broken leg, because they'll presumably have to wait for the Radiologist to tell the vet that the leg is broken.
