We recently had an initial visit for our newly adopted German Shepard. Dr Shimon reacted extremely aggressive to her recative behavior. Being a veterinary should come with patience to all dog behavior. He immediately stated he would not treat her without giving her a few minutes to calm down. His reaction made the situation worse. Sadly, this experience led to the decision to leave as customers of VCA after about 15 years.
Dr. Brosky and all the vet techs are so caring, compassionate, transparent, and honest. We love coming here because we know that our reactive pittie can be a handful and they always show such patience while being thorough with their exams and so professional. We highly recommend this practice to anyone with a reactive pet that needs a little bit extra!
Received a postcard stating that my cat needs two vaccines, both for respiratory viruses. I called to see how much and because she is not a new patient I'd have to pay for a physical and two separate vaccines. Therefore I have been going to Petco and a word to any pet lover... They do a booster FVRCP vaccine for only $49. And that covers the other two. And it doesn't matter if your pet is a new pet patient or well-established... They also do a physical!!! Don't let anyone play you dirty like VCA does
DO NOT use the daycare! Employee do not watch your animals. My dog has been attacked 3 times and bit in the face from another dog. I will never ever go back. Shame on me for giving my vca another chance thinking it was just an accident. And then another chance. I should have pulled my dog after the 1st incident. You should have camera so we can see our pets, how your staff treats them. Should be supervised 100% of the time. Instead of just saying, it was accident. Do better!
I thought my dog was dying. He couldn’t breathe. He was lethargic and I was in a bind. Although they didn’t seem to think it was as serious as I did…they helped me and they treated Guy. The veterinarian! Good dude! Went above and beyond. The people at the front desk could use a little help in compassion but overall I’m really happy with the nurse and vet and that’s what matters. Process are outrageous but they work with you somewhat.
