I just called to see if I could get my dog in because her foot is inflamed and possibly infected. I was told you are booked until Tuesday. I have been a client for approximately 10 years and never been told you can’t take care of my dog. She has many medical problems and in the past you have always gotten her in to treat. To say I am disappointed is an understatement. You just lost a long time client. It is obvious you can no longer provide the excellent service you had in the past.

I’ve had great service with VCA North Highlands. Dr. Andersen is always thorough, doesn’t request unnecessary tests, and has a genuine care for not only my Brownie, but for my concerns as well. Thanks to all the staff at VCA North Highlands for always being cheerful and welcoming us. You’re doing great!!
Thank you Dr Andersen and Dr. Faust for taking care of my cats! My cats have been in for both routine exams and when they get into trouble. (Regarding the unhappy troll-posts): VCA (Highlands & other locations) is not a low-cost pet care organization, but our experiences with them have always been very thorough, professional, and genuinely caring. To have top-notch veterinary care is never going to be cheap and will likely become more pricey as our economy dictates. Any human or organization can make mistakes, but that outcome seems extremely rare with the VCA staff at the several locations we've had care for our two dogs, including the Highlands office.
