RecommendedAny time I bring my animals to VCA Conewago, I receive nothing but excellent care. Dr. Armentrout is extremely kind and knowledgeable, and it shines through that she truly cares about the animals in her care. The staff is always helpful and communicative with any questions or concerns I have.
Beth Armentrout couldn't wait to kill my cat! 😡 It was one of the worst days of my life. She wouldn't even let me take him home. He didn't have to die that day, but she didn't care enough to offer any other options to save him. He was running and playing the night before like nothing even bothered him. He didn't have a fever, but yet she said he either have surgery or be euthanized. She knew I didn't have thousands$ for surgery. She even told me I couldn't take home. Great staff! Friendly, informative, loving. You can tell they love doing their job. My favorite vet that I have ever used. We will always continue using them. My dog LOVES Dr. Armentrout, as do we!

Helped us through the worst day of our lives. We brought in our sweet baby Dirk, a six year old German Shepherd. He had lost weight and had a growth in throat, impeding his breathing. We had to make the torturous decision to let him go. Dr Hengst and the VCA staff helped my husband along in the decision and ultimately helped us give Dirk the best care and love that we could.
