I love the Doctors at the Silverlake, Washington branch. BUT I have had financial difficulties and was behind on payments. I called and paid IN FULL for all 4 of my cats - over $1200 dollars. I only authorized my card to be used 1 time. Instead VCA decided to put my card on file.... charged me a renewal fee for one cat because oh hers expired. Not one time on Friday the 13th of September did they say.... hey your cat is up for renewal you will be charged an additional 69.99 on top of the 1200. I cancelled all accounts and wi... read more

About a year ago my mom and I visit VCA in imperial point Florida. The worst experience of our life. Their vets are rough on your dog and have no regard for the patients human or otherwise. The last time we went there they treated us like garbage. They put in tears refusing to give us the vet we asked for the only one there that is not rough on dogs and put us down. They were being condescending as if we were children needing to be disciplined. The manger and district manager snapped at us got in our faces when trying to exp... read more

The office manager, Michelle ********* in Hampton, Va. sides w/ her staff when there is a problem. When you have a problem there it is best to call the cooperate office in California.

I signed up for the Care Club on my first visit to VCA Simmons but ended up switching vets in Florida after two months due to the high cost and low quality vet care. The payments were automatic and I never received a single statement through email or mail. A few months later, I receive a call from a debt collector saying I owe over $300 for the Care Club costs. Like I said before, I NEVER received a monthly statement from VCA, Inc through email or mail. They were drawing payments directly from my account without any notifica... read more

I wouldn't give even one star if I didn't have to. I have 3 dogs that are patients at a VCA animal hospital (SierraVista, AZ). When I called to schedule a pick up of my dogs' heartworm medicine several weeks ago as I do every month, I was told that my dogs' vet had quit and that I would have to bring in my dogs to be established as new patients with another doctor, costing me roughly $50 for each dog. We are patients of the clinic and not the doctor, who was employed by VCA and not an independent contractor. There is absolut... read more

Took my dog in Wednesday for a we'll exam and nail trim 535.00. Next day she was limping and licking her paw. It looked as though her paws had been washed because the nails had been cut too short. She was in a lot of pain and threw up several times Friday night and was getting worse. I called to get an appointment Saturday and they wouldn't see her unless I paid the 129.00 fee for an emergency. Come on. I took a healthy dog in for an annual exam and come home with an injured sick dog. I took her to Bruceville Vet. He shaved ... read more

SCAMMED! Took cat in to be examined. Spent almost $400 just for that visit and then was told she had 6 teeth that needed to be extracted and that her gums were so inflamed that the vet didn't even want to touch them because she knew it would hurt the cat. The cost of extraction was going to be between $800 to $1000. Since the cost seemed so high I decided to get a second opinion. The second vet said the cat's teeth needed cleaning but did not need extraction. She pressed ******* every tooth in the cat's mouth and the cat d... read more

The DOCTORS AND MOST OF THE TECHNICIANS HERE ARE WONDERFUL. I would trust any of the 8 veterinarians here with my pets anytime, hands down. Dr. Pierce, Dr. Schwartz, Dr. Magram, Dr. Wong, Dr. Wood, Dr. Branner, Dr. McKenzie, and Dr. Harrison are ALL SO LOVING TO THEIR PATIENTS and actually care about their clients and their pets and do as much as they can morally to help each pet they see. It's amazing how lovely each vet here is; it is sad to know they're working under a corporation that treats their employees like slaves a... read more
