We brought our beloved German Shepherd, Ziggy, to the hospital during an emergency, and I cannot say enough about the exceptional care and compassion we received. Unreal. We brought our dog into emergency at 745am and didn't even get called to see a doctor until 3pm. This is pet care so it's a private medical system, this isn't a public hospital. For a place that promotes itself as a 24/7 environment where you can pay emergency prices to get your pet the care they need, leaving paying customers waiting for 7 hours is insane. Horrible patient care and zero interest in animal comfort. Don't go here.

we had to take our cat because for the past couple of days she wasnt eating and was very weak, we wanted to figure out what was wrong, the doctor who took care of our animal was very friendly and explained all of the tests they were going to go through and we had told the front desk we wouldnt be able to pay the full thing for the day and they said it would be alright as long as we pay as much as we can the first day then pay the rest another day that we planned. so after dicussing the tests they were going to run they tell ... read more

We can't say enough good things about the team at VCA Canada Alta Vista Specialty and Emergency Veterinary Centre.
