I definitely will not be back to this location. I've had a bad feeling about this place, but after our experiences and reading the all the negative reviews I should have known to trust my gut instinct better. We have very limited options for emergency bird care I felt I was doing the right thing. Our first experience was with our conure,who was lethargic but still eating and drinking. Last night I had to bring my French bulldog, Florence, to VCA Canada 404 Veterinary Emergency and Referral Hospital, and I truly cannot say enough good things about the experience. The exotics team was so knowledgeable and helpful with our sick rabbit. They showed a lot of compassion and did not rush us through decisions. They let us visit with him throughout the day as well. We were especially grateful for Dr. Zaheer who did everything he could to make our Fran comfortable and to figure out a diagnosis for him. He was so kind and competent and we would highly recommend anyone with an exotic pet come here.
Well well let’s go back a month and a half ago we took our cat to this place. The issue was the cat has no have poop and was very constipated. We did all the expense test was required and came that he need a catheter. We had decided to proceed with it. The end of the procedure they told us they have seen in the X-ray he is very constipated. And go to follow up with our vet. Sure… after $1500 dollar spend we had to spend another $1600 to the vet cause the constipation was the main issue. And an enama had to be done asap.
