I rarely leave reviews, but this experience feels important to share. I brought my 14-year-old senior cat in after she had a seizure. Her health had already been declining since she hadn’t eaten solid food in nearly 48 hours, was dehydrated, and constipated. I clearly communicated this multiple times. After bloodwork and an exam, the first veterinarian told us they couldn’t determine why the seizure happened or why she wasn’t eating. She was kept for 36 hours on IV fluids and given an enema. I am writing this review with a heavy heart because our rabbit Rajon passed away on December 19th at 8:17 am peacefully by the Christmas tree. He has lived with us since he was a month old, and had surpassed 13 years of age. Words cant describe my appreciation for the 404 VCA family, our dad, who passed away, found this place at a time when nobody wanted to see pet rabbits, and 404 VCA saved Rajon on multiple occasions. PENDING I had to bring my sweet 10 month old Budgie, Fluffy, here today as she had a small wound on her left leg that got bitten by one of her siblings and it started bleeding badly. The Vet we saw was very empathetic and caring and explained what the best course of help would be for the bird and such. And they had to give her a little flower cone that made her look adorable although she did not agree. Came home with that and two meds only to sadly have her pass away shortly after I got home. I cannot express my gratitude and appreciation enough on how kind and loving the team at 404 Emergency Hospital were. As a first time puppy parent, nothing prepares you for the excruciating cries of your puppy when an accident happens. Our 14 week old puppy got the zoomies, slipped on the ice whilst trying to jump on me, fell and went into shock, pain and was immensely scared...
