After 46 years of working at VCA East Penn I have parted ways. I will be working a Dr Sam's on Emmaus ave, The Drs at East Penn are excellent and provide good care, however since new management things have change SO much. We lost good techs and Dr's. I could not continue to work there. I will miss the clients very much but not the stress involved in going to work everyday

When I first brought my liver spotted dalmatian to Smoketown we delt with Dr. Shellenburger. He was absolutely amazing. My dog is deaf in one ear and the doctor admitted to not seeing a hearing test before and was very interested in it. Dr. Shellenburger then needed to treat my dog for crystals in his urine at a different appointment and said he was going to do some research on the breed to make sure he is treating him correctly. And then it happened, we had to see other Doctors in the practice. The last visit was the end of... read more

AT ALL! save your money and your baby’s life and go anywhere else!

If you don't bring your pet in enough...if you only resort to the minimum visits per year...then Brighton Animal Hospital will not value you. Let me make this clear if you do not spend enough money at Brighton Animal Hospital and your pet needs immediate care...well then they will say its their policy to not see your little family member and instead tell you that you will have to take him or her elsewhere, and point you to pet emergency care services. I needed an X-Ray (pup ate a cooked lamb bone) but was told they hadn't ... read more

My cat Isabelle died on September 21 at 5:58 am. She was fine on September 6 with just a little nausea and constipation. I took her to VEG and was told she didn’t have constipation but had Stage 3/4 CKD. Dr. White sedated her to take the x-ray and thought she had a linear foreign obstruction in her intestines. I wanted second opinion and took her to South Paws. I talked to Dr. Luong and we agreed to have an ultrasound taken to see if Isabelle actually had an obstruction and she did not. I didn’t want her sedated again but ... read more

I had a bad experience at this hospital. They seem to care more about taking advantage of you and milking you for every dollar you have. They do not appear to care for your animal as much as they do your wallet. My dog needed surgery for his bladder stones, as a month before at another VET, they missed 2 stones. His bladder burst again. It was labor weekend. Seemed like they were the only ones available. Less then professional too. Bank of the West was merging with BMO. Friday the hospital in Ventura, CA did n... read more

My rating is based on my experience with the front desk. Very rude. Seemed inexperienced. We have found another office with a friendly staff. I found this unfortunate, as I am told the vets are great.

I been using Sayville Animal Hospital for the past few years I have taken both our pets for years we have chosen a few select doctors there over other doctors. Now after i had the nerve to question a price of a procedure that was going to be done on my pet and also i dared to question why there was such a price increase on a shot from one year to the next. I had Dr. Frosch call me and tell me that from now on Dr. Dale and his staff were not comfortable with myself or treating both my pets? I have been nothing but friendly an... read more
