Go to Petsmart Animal Hospital instead I took my puppy to the VCA for a few months and was never very happy with it. The girls at reception were nice, but I felt like the vets and vet techs never really took the time to explain what I needed to know. A bunch of caring people! When my youngest dog had been throwing up all morning and my boyfriend voiced his concerns about salmon blood poisoning I was in a panic. I had just moved to the area and hadn't considered looking for a vet yet (because the closest are in Richland). I was just going to take my dogs to their usual vet in Newcastle (Renton).
Bad Spay Experience I was taking care of a stray that had been dumped by my house and took her into VCA to have her spayed and a couple teeth pulled since she had been hit by a car previously. I also signed a release for them to ultrasound her. They told me she was probably only about a year to 18 months old and also checked for a spay scar but didn't see or feel one so proceeded with the spay. Avoid Richland VCA I took my beloved family dog into Richland vca for a check up and ended up having to put her down a few days later due to the severe negligence of one of their "knowledgeable vets"
Animal Medical Center has very caring and professional staff We have taken our pets to Animal Medical Center for about 20 years now and have found Dr. Harbinson to be very knowledgeable and caring. They have a professional office and handle the usual veterinary cases. But recently our cat Snowball died, and the clinic sent us a beautifully decorated cast of his paw print and name along with a sympathy card.
