Love Dr Shrack. Very down to Earth, very gentle and kind approach with the animals. Bernadette and Stacy are great vet techs. The problem? Well I have now been with two rescues there so we’re talking I’ve brought over a dozen different dogs there as well as my own. Always gotten along great with everyone. HORRIBLE PLACE. Brought our bleeding new puppy in at about 11:30 am, blood all over my clothing so this wasn't a minor injury and the receptionist asked it I had an appointment. I responded no that my puppy was bleeding. and she actually said we are too busy you will have to leave. Thankfully another owner suggested Bolton Vet, and we went there and were seen right away. VCA of Vernon is HORRIBLE.
Vernon VCA has taken care of all my dogs throughout the years with patients, care and understanding. The staff has gone beyond basic care for both my dog and myself. I wouldn't trust anyone else with my animals, Dr. A and Nicole have been amazing to deal with!
Nice colors and renovations mean NOTHING if the services SUCK! Do not patronize! Dr. Schrack is INHUMANE! I am BEYOND grief with how he, Nicole & Stacy treated us during our dog’s euthanasia! They would not give us an additional TEN MINUTES for another family member to attend after BEGGING! Despicable. We had to put our dog down today and this jackwad of a vet decided that he couldn't wait ten minute until the son of the mother to show up. THE SON WHOSE PET THIS WAS. Because apparently even begging for an extra ten minutes was unacceptable. Horrific bedside manner. They prioritized their patients waiting on appointments. Pet owners who can completely understand losing their furry family members. I'm disgusted and will NEVER recommend this place to ANYONE.
Very friendly and helpful. Know our dogs well, welcoming them by name. They take excellent care of them!
Wonderful hospital with a welcoming, warm and caring staff. Modern chic interior with a small town feel. My pet is always at ease there. Highly recommend! 🐾💖
Everyone here I’ve met is so caring and compassionate, and to get a sympathy card signed by everyone after saying goodbye to a beloved pet was so very heartwarming.
