Okay but maybe not completely honest The vet there talked me into getting my cat checked for Feline Lukemia/Aids because it was "so prevalent," and I found out when I got home and researched some medical studies on the topic it's less than 3% of outdoor cats who may have it (mine has only ever been indoor as were her parents). Felt cheated out of 60$. Other than that they have been okay.
Pasadena Veterinary Specialist needs improvement Dr. Mott is a very good doctor. Can't say the same for the front office staff. Terrible! Their phone etiquette and customer serice skills are seriously lacking. They also charge you for everything...including $3.42 for "biohazardous waste disposal & supplies". There is nothing biological about alcohol swabs and ultrasound gel for a blood pressure check but that's what it was for. The front office is shared with TLC Vet Hospital. gracie I have been taking my dogs/cats to Dr. Fitzpatrick for 25 years now and have always had a good experience. Dr Fitzpatrick is very attentive and caring and assisted me and my family of animals for preventative care, problems and difficult decisions that had to be made over the years. Compassionate care I have been taking my cats to Abri for nearly 20 years now. Have visited other vets in the area, but Dr. Fitzpatrick is the best. He takes the time to explain your pet's condition and discuss various treatment options. He is compassionate and understanding. The staff, too, is very informative and hepful. Now I have one older diabetic cat and a younger cat, and both are doing very well under Dr. Fitzpatrick's care. I would not even consider taking my cats to another vet! Highly recommended!
HIGHLY RECCOMENDED! We've always had animals as part of our family; and because we treat our pets just like we would a person, we have gone to the vet numerous times. Name every vet in the Cape May County area and most likely we've been there. About 10 tears ago we had to lay one of our loved ones down due to complications our pet had experienced from ANOTHER vet. pets need health care too If you pet gets sick this is the place to take them. They vets. that actually are about your animals. If you cat or dog gets hurt they offer a walk in service as well. No appointment needed. If you have an emergency you can just bring them in. They have the best care and if your pet has to spend a night they will be well loved. Reasonably priced. Care you want but can't give. Simmons Veterinary Hospital & Barkers Hotel, provide the care you want to give for your pets but are unable to give yourself. We are very pleased with all of the staff members whom take loving care of our pets. We have even boarded our dog at their Barkers Hotel. Not even the Breakers Hotel could have given her better care.
