It was a pleasure to have Octavio aboard yesterday. He did a full inspection of the system as opposed to just replacing parts. The lift pump, which was thought to be bad, exhibited proper behavior so we agreed the pump should not be changed at this time. As he moved further along the system issues were found and corrected, those being the crush rings, and primarily being the missing seal on the bleeder bolt at the primary filter. Not only has VB Engineering, Vince & Dan done a wonderful job while our boat was in San Diego and needed several things repaired they have continued to be very valuable and helpful while we have been sailing.
