Ww had dinner here on Christmas eve. It's only the third time we've eaten here, but we will return. The food was fantastic. The salmon was so moist and tender, it tasted like they buttered every flake. The steak was also amazing, and the drinks were tasty and flashy. The waitstaff is very professional but not what I would consider "warm." The atmosphere is cozy but be aware, it's a small venue. If you've ever been to Paris, it's just like a restaurant in Paris.
This is a great little gem in old town Albany. The food is delicious and ambiance is very warm and inviting. Ask for your mixed drink to be served in a Tiki cup.
My wife asked me to cancel a different reservation for an anniversary dinner at Vault 244. We were seated next to the front door. With 39F air blowing into the door with every arrival my wife had to keep her coat on the entire dinner. Every two minutes or so that door would open. To make it worse, these patrons stood a few feet from us discussing lack of reservations, no tables available, etc. The food and drinks were excellent, although it seemed hard to obtain a spoon for some reason.
