Jason is the absolute BEST landlord!! He was very quick to handle issues, very personable, and became a friend of our family! I can’t say enough good things about the Vaughn property manager, Jason. My daughter and I were desperately looking for a reasonably priced Boise apartment in close proximity to her college, and more importantly a safe place. After some frustration in finding something, Jason was kind enough to listen to our plea for help and found us the perfect unit adjacent to the college on a quiet street. The apartment is spacious and the layout maximizes space and gives an open appearance. However, the entire property management only has one person for maintenance/repairs and one for AC/heater issues and so if anything goes wrong the wait time can be really long and sometimes you don't hear back on issues.
I'll just hit the main points here, but Jason McAughty (who also wrote a positive review for his OWN company here 2 months ago) told us before we moved in that the carpet would be fixed (multiple tears and bald spots) and that he'd "patch up" anywhere that needed it. When we moved in 10 days later, the carpet had not been fixed, but GOOD NEWS, they put PACKING TAPE over the holes, as if that makes it better.
