I was initially very happy with the car, but the problems began immediately after purchase. Tires: Both rear tires had slow leaks and needed immediate replacement. ($1,800) Battery: The battery had a low charge and was effectively dead—also replaced right away. ($300) Filters: Clogged with dirt, all needed to be changed. Do not buy a car from here if you do take a mechanic with you I bought a 2020 Chevrolet Malibu, March 14, 2024. The transmission went out 2025 of March when I first got the car. It was saying shift to park, but I didn’t understand it, then it started working, so I didn’t think nothing of it. I’m still driving and driving and driving so I took it to a mechanic shop them check for me and lord behold. Overall, a good sale until we noticed the car they sold us had tire rot. Come to realize the date on the tires that came with the car were 7 years old (no kidding) We realized when one of the tires blew on us while driving. An extra $1200 later with new tires, tow, and repairs, and the car was tip top. Hopefully, it is an isolated incident, but safety is a major concern. The lesson is to check the tires and the year of the tires before buying a car from Vaughn.
Wouldn’t buy or trade a car here. Lowball you and sell your car for way more. Then sell you a vehicle that will have the dash light up like a Christmas tree after taking it home. Barely drove this truck. Haven’t even hit 2k miles yet and engine light/parking break/ESC light/traction control lights are all on.
