In my opinion ILLAMPERUMA, CHAMANI is one of the worst health care practitioners ever. Runs tests and never updates the patient as to the results, gives attitude when you ask questions, Looks for any excuse to defer any request. Generally answers questions with a nonsensical question. Not in the least supporting whatsoever.
booked an appointment for 11:30, got here 2 minutes early & receptionist asked us to sit because the doctor is "running a little late". we waited 1 hour. no updates. other patients were taken before us not sure HOW late the doctor was? why couldn't the receptionist be honest? we missed our lunch break and didn't even get to see the doctor. we rescheduled the appointment, because it's absolutely ridiculous to make someone wait 1 hour without an explanation OR APOLOGY. receptionist didn't say anything when we asked to change t... read more
Got a referral to see a respiratory doctor here from MacKenzie Health. Showed up 15 minutes early for my appointment. Doctor strolls in 30 minutes late for my appointment and ignores the fact that she's late and I've been waiting. I asked for an apology and she acts as if I'm a "Code White" and tells me I will have to go to the waiting room to wait to see her some more. Dr. Chamani Illamperuma is a fabulous doctor! She is so knowledgeable and generously cares about patients. She also has an amazing receptionist. I am very satisfied with Dr. Illamperuma. She is an angel on earth and I would definitely recommend her to anyone.
