Great experience. I had been considering a Vasectomy for a couple years. Finally made the decision and couldn’t be more satisfied with the procedure. Dr Abano was very professional and made sure I was aware of everything to expect during and after the procedure. If you’re considering getting a vasectomy, I highly recommend Dr Abano.
The doc was nice, but after 7 months the itching will NOT stop. I read other stories of 10, 15, 20+ years of unending itching. I regret my surgery. Do not get it. This side effect is something they never disclosed. It will NEVER end and there is NO treatment.
It was about as pleasant of an experience as I could imagine one being getting a vasectomy done, which is not to say it was unpleasant. My mind was put at ease by the professionalism of the entire staff from making the appointment, the initial consultation, to the procedure itself, and follow-up. All-in-all, everything went well, it was completely painless. At worst, I would describe the entire thing as discomfort. 10/10 would return if I had to do it again. Although thankfully it tends to be one and done.
Dr Abano and his staff did a great job! Like most, I watched everything and read what I could. But there is always that uneasiness of the choice. Dr Abano was light-hearted during the procedure to keep my focus off of it, yet answer any question in depth as needed. Post Surgery: So driving home was a bit uncomfortable.
