The ER physicians must make $1000/30min bc I sat in the ER on March 9th 2026 for 6 hrs before I got seen by a physician - who talked to me for 10 min & gave me meds for an infected tooth. I have been trying for 4 months to pay the Bill - but the phone number given does not work - I went to the website to pay it & again I’m not in their system with my SSN. Absolutely disgusting !!!!! If you would like treatment, do not go to this hospital , do not go to the emergency room. My mother-in-law is there as I type being denied water. She’s been there since 9 o’clock this morning. Still waiting to see the doctor in a room that is not a patient room. She sat there for over an hour before they noticed that she was not hooked up to her monitor. It is now 6:15 . Dr. Amaya was very pleasant and knowledgeable. She kept me calm and talked me through my fear.
Went to the facility. Told them what was wrong. They didn't put it in my file. In fact, they didn't list it appropriately at all. Not to mention i didn't even get seen by the doctors, but even after paying the bill on MYCHART Im still getting bills from the bortollazzo group and payments md. This place is such a scam. Shame. Used to actually be good.
No matter what hospital you go there will be aggreviation. But I do have to say over the past couple of years even when we lived in Bowdon ga, we traveled to bring my mom who has AML leukemia to this hospital. We have had a few small issues in which I didn't hesitate to make a phone call to have resolved due to her medical needs. My mom is back in the hospital and we live in Douglasville for past year and honestly I wouldn't take her to another hospital unless I absolutely had to. She has received such good care.
