Update! I ended up getting a revision surgery (jan 2026) by a top thoracic outlet syndrome specialist in the country- Dr. pearl. After review of my imaging he explained Barbara left a jagged 1.5” rib stump that my nerves most likely adhered to in scar tissue, causing more compression. He also said that because my scalene muscles were just cut off my rib and left to dangle- they became encased in scar tissue and fibrotic bands with my brachial plexus (which explains the severe radiating neck pain). I am amazed. The current solution for varicose veins is not to rip them out like in the old days, but they do gentle injections with saline and it solves the problem - and the varicose vein simply goes away. i am amazed. These people are professional and it was a great experience and very successful.. Thank you guys so much!
My go to for all vascular surgery needs. These doctors are top of the notch and your care is their priority. The staff in the office is so friendly and welcoming. Would recommend 10x over to everyone I know.
I got first rib resection and pec minor release by Melendez, I was told the surgery would not make me worse, but it made me worse. I’m 1 year out. The surgery was downplayed to me- and a lot of the complications I have were not conveyed to me.. When in reality it is a MAJOR surgery and should not of been taken so lightly, I do not recommend this place.
