The initial visit was spot on, and I made up my mind immediately to have my uterine fibroid embolism there vs the other facility that was being pushed on me by my gynecological group. Cons, scheduling communication was lacking. I got multiple calls requesting schedule changes where I implicitly stated that my schedule was not flexible. My experience was exceptional and very professional. I highly recommend Vascular Institute.
I’ve had a very distressing experience, feeling that I received inadequate care. It seemed like there was little consideration for how patients feel during such a vulnerable time. The focus appeared to be more on moving patients in and out rather than providing the comfort and support that we truly need. I wish the staff had been more attentive and compassionate, as it would have made a significant difference in how I felt during my treatment.
