Excellent physician who implanted my AICD. I was hesitant about getting it implanted(for about a year) and I appreciated that he clearly explained the importance of getting it done but wasn’t pushy.
I was brought to UCSF emergency a couple of weeks ago via ambulance after passing out and losing consciousness. When I woke up in ICU, I was told I needed a pacemaker. I underwent surgery immediately which was performed by Dr Vendantham. I have always found him to be a wonderful doctor who is also very compassionate and knowledgeable as this is his specialty. I’ve had to go back to the emergency room a few times post surgery and he has always shown concern for my health and respect towards both me and my opinions. He always ... read more
