In general, Vasa is a good gym. I initially requested a free personal training session. However, the coach suggested that I try a few additional sessions to better decide whether I wanted to continue. I agreed to participate for two weeks and paid $120 for that period. Update: they ran out of mats during evening workout today. As others have stated, this gym has rapidly gone downhill since its recent opening. Wipes are often empty and trash is overflowing. Today every single one was empty and a mess. Not enough treadmills but 15 ellipticals that nobody uses. Ceiling leaks in probably 15 spots so there are always buckets laying around to catch the water. I also noticed the soap dispensers in the bathroom are filled with shampoo refills 🤔

I didn’t get much attention from the vast amount of employees my first time at VASA fitness other than the young buck standing at the kiosk where I self scanned myself in and I got a, “have a good workout.” It had to be obvious that I was new, as I walked around aimlessly taking photos. I didn’t get any introduction, tour, explanation of how things worked etc, but they did have rules printed in pop fashion on the walls around the gym, which was not only helpful, but also stylish.
