Liked Varsity Square. People in the office were always friendly. Maintenance was better than other places i ve lived. Lived here for Jr and Sr year and it was nice. I d recommend it (especially compared to the stories I hear from others about other places).
I lived in these apartments for two and a half years. I was conviently located close to campus and shopping. The apartment itself was the perfect size for one person. The office staff was very helpful and friendly. Once my car was scratched in the parking lot. They insisted that I call the police to come and talk with as they got a tip from another tenant. The staff is very unpleasant to deal with. They are NOT helpful at all. They have an attitude problem whenever you bring up something wrong in your apt. If you need something fixed you mine as well do it yourself. Toilets and kitchen sinks leak. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
Apartments are really spacious and very high quality. I feel in love on the first visit
Tehy charge the whole building for every time somebody does something stupid, even if its on a different floor, or even outdoor vandalism. The pet fee, if they even accuse you of having a dog or a lizard or something is 350 bucks a day! Really rediculous. OK building and all, but Mason can be a really tough property manager.
It is horrible. Do not live here. My car has been vandalized numerous times, the neighborhood is so loud it wakes me from a dead sleep, the front doors are just bedroom doors- not safe- and the office maintains ridiculous rules, such as insisting upon "inspecting" my apartment to see if I am living up to their "standards of cleanliness." There is better and cheaper off-campus housing in Dekalb. Dont bother with Varsity Square.
