I was really hoping for a positive experience at the Variety Boys & Girls Club of Queens, but it didn’t turn out that way. The program felt very disorganized, and there was little clear communication about schedules or activities. When I tried to talk about my concerns, Erika didn’t seem very interested in helping and mostly just sat around and did nothing. That kind of attitude made me feel like this isn’t a place that really cares. I wouldn’t recommend it to other parents looking for a good after school program.

As a parent, I was very disappointed with the Variety Boys & Girls Club of Queens. There was a constant lack of basic materials for the kids to use, which made activities frustrating and unproductive. What concerned me even more was the unprofessional and hostile attitude of the staff. Erika and Maria, in particular, were rude and dismissive when I tried to address my concerns.
