This MD is amazing. He explained my procedure very clearly and put me at ease. Thanks to him, I've finally got some answers and a plan. This team is clearly very trained and they all do their jobs very well.

Dr. Varadarajulu explained everything before and after the procedure. Acute and chronic pancreatitis made it difficult to see what was going on. Dr. V called me personally and told me he needed to repeat the endoscopic ultrasound in two weeks and to follow a low fat diet in the meantime to rest my pancreas. When I went back for the second EUS, he took many biopsies to assure getting an accurate diagnosis. Thanks to Dr. V’s clear diagnosis, my network model HMO plan quickly authorized my followup with a surgeon and an oncolog... read more

Our 88-year old mother died last month of pancreatic cancer that was diagnosed by Dr V. Two years ago she complained of stomach pain that our family doctor said was from acid. He sent her to local gastro who did MRI. The pancreas was okay but blood tumor level was more than 1000 and he couldn't do anything more. Dr. V did an endoscopy biopsy and told she had aggressive pancreatic cancer. After 2 months our Mother became yellow and the local gastro doctor could not put stent. We went again to Orlando and using a new method Dr... read more

Not recommended at all. He doesn't speak English, and he doesn't talk to patients or families after the procedures. I heard from a family doc that he is not well respected in the medical community.

The doctor is very thorough and highly informative. I felt completely confident of his knowledge. Will definitely contact him If I need future pancreatic care.

I had jaundice all of a sudden and two of my doctors in Pensacola who did tests called ERCP and endoscopic ultrasound could not find a reason. I was referred to Orlando and Dr. Varadarajulu repeated my endoscopic ultrasound and told me I had a 6mm cancer in my pancreas. It was too small for other doctors to see or be seen on a scan. He sent me to a surgeon and after having Whipple surgery I am disease free. I dodged a bullet and got a second chance at life. Speaks little but more than delivers.

I was referred to him to have a pancreas mass checked out because it showed. up on kidney scan. The internist scared me as cancer runs in our family. I got to see a nighborhood gastro who referred me to CIE. Scheduling was difficult as calls kept going to VM. My husband finally got through and went to see doctor after 1 week. Very straight and to the point. After may be a 10 minute Endoscopic he said I had no cancer but a pancreas cyst and return in 1 Year. Efficient and considerate.

Took my wife who had lost weight. She was seen by local GI and then Tampa. They did biopsies and tried to put a stent in her liver but failed twice and referred her to Dr. V. Interview was just 5 minutes but he answered all questions. Came out of surgery in 15 minutes and I thought something was wrong. He said, sorry, it is pancreatic cancer and the stent was successful. Want to hold hands for prayers, not the guy. Want honesty and competency, he is it. Google him, internationally recognized.

He is a very technical Doctor and yet can break it down to the patient. Be prepared to ask your questions as his visits are short but concise. He is a man of action. He diagnosed me after pancreatitis and advised not to drain and let body reabsorb naturally. He is slow to read CT results but that is because he really studies your case as an individual so be patient.
