Excellent pediatrician with great clinical judgement. Makes it to remember my son and daughter's names and personality traits and uses them in conversation! My kids love going for office visits
He is not very helpful at all. He spends no time with the pt. He also does not return phone calls within a timely matter. I was concerned about an ambiguous report and he told me to come back in 3 months to see if the soft tissue had grown.
Dr. Rao has been my childrens' pediatrician for 6 years. She knows both my children by name on sight. She knows their individual personalities and what is out of character for them. She is always responsive to all concerns. Her approachable manner makes it easy to discuss any topic, no matter how difficult. The office staff, is friendly, responsive, and doesn't make you feel as if you have to prove you need an appointment.
My son was 16 at the time, and from the moment Dr. Shah walked in he put my son at ease and treated him with respect as a young man. Surgically, he was excellent. My son had extensive spinal surgery and other physicians remark about the excellent care he has received.
Dr Shah treated and operated on my daughter for severe scoliosis. He was informative and supportive throughout the 5 years we have been seeing him. He has a wonderful kind thoughtful and considerate bedside manner. I highly recommend him.
Dr. Shah has to be one of the best in the business. If not THE best in the business. He remembers his patient's even after a year since their last visit. Our daughter had a 53 degree curve in her spine only repairable by a spinal fusion. She had 2 curves, one in the middle and one at the base of the lower spine. He repaired them with titanium steel rods and at age 16 now she has unlimited mobility and movement. We won't be going back now till she's 16 but we highly recommend this surgeon and doctor. Dr.Shah is awesome! I had two large curves in my spine that needed to be repaired through surgery. He works mainly with kids who have spine problems and sports related issues i believe. Wonderful doctor. Knows his stuff very well.
