Amazing. Great friendly employees. Great prices and sales. Only place shop.
All I have heard was good things about the bakery, how nice the ladies were and a great selection of baked goods. Well after a doctor appointment I went to see if you guys had any sourdough bread bowls. Didn't see any, so I went to ask if you carried them and a heavyset lady behind the doughnut display snapped at me and said, ' we don't sell enough to make. You have to order a day ahead.' Locally owned and operated! A little higher prices, but who can complain when the alternative is to travel all the way across town to some chain store? My favorite part of the store is the deli! They have all the best prepared hot foods a person could want!
The Van's Thriftway in Helena is a great local store from which to purchase groceries and sundry items. It is a little bit more expensive, especially for organic and gluten-free items. However, its convenient location and above-par customer service make up for that. We rarely encounter a grumpy or disgruntled employee, and have several times been accommodated by employees going above-and-beyond in order to please us and retain us as loyal customers. Exceptional service, low prices, best cheeses in town, meat cut by real butchers. We in Helena are lucky to have it!!!
Great deals and friendly service. They are also willing to help all sorts of community events. Absolutely love this store. Has a warm small town feel.
A huge thank you to the bakery at Vans for handling the cake and dessert bar at our daughters wedding last weekend! Ramona and the staff did an excellent job, not only was everything delicious, but the presentation was beautiful! Almost too pretty to eat! Thanks so much!
