I would give zero stars if I could. I encourage anyone considering building with this company to look elsewhere. At the onset things may seem great but I guarantee that you will be left with bills and fixes to the house at the end when all is said and done. From the terrible contractors used, to a complete lack of communication, our house was nothing but a nightmare. Very dishonest and had many lies about products they use and lots of excuses made. Contacted Van's about building our home. Met with Phil as I told him we wanted to figure out some closer numbers, so we met with him. He showed us through one of the houses they recently built in Sherwood(this was on a Friday) and that next Tuesday he informed us the price went up $5,000. I feel he should have told us that price days earlier when we went in to talk about price. Then for a few weeks it was almost impossible to get a response from a call or email to them. We built with Van's and worked with Lance in the Fall of 2017. It was completed at the end of April 2018. Overall we were very satisfied with the experience. It was very helpful to have Marissa from House of Flooring help with picking out all of tile, carpet, granite, grout, paint colors and stone to make everything come together. I would visit the job site daily after work and met all of the subcontractors and was impressed with all of them. Our home is not done yet, but Lance has made this process as easy as possible. He listens to every request we have and provides great input. Cannot wait for our home to be done. :)

Products Van's puts in homes are quality name brand. Included a lot of little details standard that really impressed us during the building process. Took care of all typical little flaws we noticed (paint touch ups, a missing screw in door handle, etc) with no questions asked, and overall went above and beyond to put our minds at ease. Building a home is a huge process- would I build with Van's again? Yes.
