Today was rpad trip day with hubbi & we stoped in for lunch 》 the fried pickles & jal so perfect! It was hard to pick off the menu cause it all sounded so delish! I went with the BBQ potato & hubbi went with the fam burger...we ate so much we hurt! The service was friendly. The decor is perfect for small town charm! We will be back for sure!
Normally we never have any problems when we come here, but today was horrible. My food was burnt (ckn fried steak) and I sent it back and 30 min later it's barely coming out which my husband had alreAdy finished his food. Not to mention the cooks where yelling and cussing and arguing in back. This use to be one of our favorite spots but I guess everyone is too busy trying to rush to close instead of customer service. We sat down at 8:30 which was plenty of time before closing.
Absolutely the WORST service I have ever experienced in a restaurant! Took us about 10min to even get a server to get our drink and food order... that's the last time we ever seen a server...counted about a dozen times servers walked past us without offering any kind of help...No drink refills, NOTHING. Will NEVER be back!!
We stopped today on the way north. Not that far off of 35. We ordered a half order of onion rings for an appetizer and they were the best I've eaten!!! Ordered one of the burger baskets and they were great. Nice crispy fries and burger tasted wonderful, especially with the toasted buns. Thank you!!
Loved it! Visiting Corpus Christi from Maine and stopped here for lunch. Great idea. Try the mushroom appetizer and the onion rings. Burger was excellent. And the baked potato stuffed with a cut up hot dog, topped with fantastic chili, cheese and onion was gigantic and tasty. Thanks for a great meal.
