Just received 1 ounce of saffron threads from Vanilla, Saffron Imports. Their product comes from Afghanistan. I compared it to 1 ounce of saffron threads from Spain. The Vanilla, Saffron Imports has all maroon red threads, which is the best quality, And tastes delicious! (The Spanish product which is good but has some yellow/orange threads! ) And Vanilla, Saffron enclosed several gifts, which is a surprise! I have purchased the most wonderful vanilla beans, for many many years from Vanilla, Saffron Imports. The quality is always top notch, and I will continue to recommend the to my friends, and here, on their page. Since vanilla has gone up in price over the years, their prices are fair and competitive. The best quality around so far, I bought from this company for the first time around 2009 and just started using saffron again now and I just purchased again and love it. I called the company and spoke to the the nice gentlemen there (the owner) and I was pleased with the conversation, he took time to explain a few things was on my mind.
