Long overdue review: I lived at Vanguard for two years. Management is awesome and the apartments are spacious. :) Parking can be tough sometimes but it's nice being at the bottom of Ascot Drive. Apt complex is quiet, clean, and well-managed! 5/5 highly recommend.

Personally, I've enjoyed living at Vanguard. From what I've heard, the previous landlord did not do a good job maintaining the complex, but the current landlord has been great! Very responsive if something is wrong in the unit. It is an older complex so that is something to be aware of, but the grounds are very well maintained and the rooms are pretty big. There's a bus stop within walking distance from the complex that goes directly to campus, which is pretty convenient if you're a college student but don't own a car. It's ... read more
This has got to be the worst place I have ever lived. On the plus size, I will say that the apartments are roomy, but that is about it. The grounds - there is a big pile of dirt with a bunch of weeds growing out. Also an area of dead flowers. The grass is dead in much of the area. The apartment - the dishwashers are really old. You have to totally clean your dishes before you put them in. So what's the point. Also, someone didn't measure the stove right, so there is a drawer that doesn't open.
