Not impressed – My vision of a Hollywood Club left my expectations a bit high. First of all Not only do you have to be on a guestlist but you also have to get a promoter to notice you in order to check the list and get you in. Drinks were pretty nasty even for those with a strong tolerance. The place was really nice, clean, and interesting. The DJ was really great. User review by cindycbanh – Coming from the Bay Area, I might have expected a lot more from a club in Hollywood. Besides the cool outdoor smoking area, everything else reminded me of an old roller rink. The DJ SUCKED. Not only were his mixes choppy and off beat, but he would play Sinatra and then Bon Jovi right after. Like the other review, it really did feel like you were going through a cattle herd. Nice Vibe Here. – I have been to many LA clubs and bars and this one takes the cake. It's got great atmosphere without being completely stuffy or overdone. It's a big club and therefore alot of people show up. It's all ages over 21 but I noticed most were mid 20s ro mid 30s, thank god, instead of the normal 18 yr olds with fake ID's and immature 22 year olds. LOVE the back patio area. The atmosphere makes it possible to enjoy yourself in a swany place AND talk to some cool people!

Don't waste your money – All these promoters were trying to sell me on the 2 million dollar renovation that supposedly went into the Vanguard. Well I wasn't impressed with the setup, the lines were like a cattle drive, the valet took 45 minutes, the setup inside was dark and danky (it reminded me of my old days going to raving clubs like Glass House). It also took me about 30 MINUTES!!! to buy a freak'n beer. Every single bar was covered with a crowd of people, alot of cutting also which got very annoying. The music was also... read more

I like it.. – you firs time there is a little confusing..the line forms on the side of the building..but not actually a like..more of like circle around the ropes..but once you figure it out and find the list guy your all good! In side is cool, its large and the dance floor is great! Huge outside patio, great getaway from the dance floor!
