I almost always come after the fish is sold out on Fridays � but luckily everything else on the menu is phenomenal!
Place was hopping tonight! People waiting in line. Was considering going elsewhere but we were seated in 10 minutes by a very friendly waitress who knew how to hustle. Ordered standard gyros & waffle fries. Came in record time! Hot delicious affordable prices! It's a great place, always good.
Vangos is a wonderful, family friendly atmosphere with the best waffle fries and nacho cheese around!
I've been going to Vango's since I was 16 years-old and I'm closing in on 60 now. I can honestly say I've never had one bad meal there. Food is consistently good (all of it) and the prices are very reasonable. If there is anything I would change at all, it would just be to have real melted cheese on the nachos. That's always been a favorite of mine. Keep up the great work Michele and crew. You're all great.
Waitress told me 3 times our food was coming! Finally after an hour went by I went to the bar to pay for my ice teas and to tell them to forget it. Food had been served to people that came in after us?????? The owner came out and asked what was the problem? Told the same story. Waitress says your food is coming now, too late. So who was at fault? Montana the waitress? Did she lose my order? Went to Applebee's, had our food in 20 minutes, and they were just as busy. Vangos was one of my favorite places to eat. Not any more �.
Love Vango' s! Have been going there since the 70s. Enjoyed another great fish fry on Friday. So many favorites to pick from. Will keep going to Vango' s often, as we have for a long time :)
We went there for our Anniversary dinner. Love love love Vangos. Have NEVER had a bad meal. One thing that I really like (besides the food of course), is that when your meal is ready to come out, whatever waitress is available brings it to you right away. I think more restaurants should do this so your food doesn't sit there getting cold if your waitress is busy with other customers. Thanks for that!
