I'm surprised to see 2 poor reviews. My family has seen Dr. Gloor for about 10 years and she is truly a gentle and kind dentist - great with my kids, compassionate to people with fear or aversion to dentistry. She has integrity and does not "over-diagnose" (pretend that people need dental work that is unnecessary). When I first saw her, I had a sore tooth that I assumed would need a root canal. I always feel I've received the best dental care. Highly recommend Dr. Gloor! Excellent attention to children and sensitive patients! Years ago Dr. Gloor was recommended by a poll in Diablo Magazine and that is how I first discovered her.

I moved to Walnut Creek in August and needed to find a dentist. I randomly picked one that had decent reviews but the day before my appointment I met Dr Gloor at a business meeting. She was very positive and cheery so I decided to try her out instead and what a great decision that turned out to be! I see Dr. Vanessa Gloor quarterly, and she is the very best at making sure my teeth are in the best of shape. Her dental skills are stellar and her own personal manner is also wonderful. She has examined and cleaned my teeth, replaced fillings, equipped me with a permanent bridge and several other things. Her pricing is fair and moderate.

I went to Dr. Gloor because I went with Mother who is terrified of dentists to have a tooth pulled. She was so please and Dr. Gloor was so nice, I decided to go myself. She personally cleaned my teath - which was the first time ever it didn't hurt and I didn't "clench" up. The exam was very thorough and I am a very satisfied client - I will go back!

Dr. Gloor is truly a pain-free dentist! Not only pain-free, but VERY customer service orientated. I broke a tooth in the morning and made the call to be seen. Within an hour I was contacted for an appointment that same day at a convenient time. The staff is wonderful. The best of the best is that Dr. Gloor has a sweet little Dachshund that oversees the office, and he (Skippy) greeted me with tail wagging, a big smile, and lots of lovies!! My wife and I relocated from Brazil to USA in August 2006 then we needed to find a dentist here in the Bay Area. I do not recall how we found her but all I know is that we never left, even after moving to Sunnyvale. Dr. Gloor is what each dentist or doctor in general should be, she does a really nice job, very charismatic and always ready to help. We highly recommend her, all of her staff is also awesome to deal with.
