Double scoop cone looked like a child's size and when I commented on it to the gal, she only asked if I wanted a little more in a cup. I declined and she still charged me for a double!!!! Never going back
Love this place! They have THE BEST ice cream around! Even better, we live 5 min away! We go during the week when it's not as crowded w beachgoers.
It was just okay. We ordered an ice cream cake for the Fourth of July and no one was really impressed. The cake was supposed to be strawberry chocolate and vanilla. The layers weren't even at all. It was more of a strawberry ice cream cake with chocolate fudge layer and no one really saw where the vanilla ice cream was. Redners ice cream cakes are better and much cheaper. Won't be ordering here again.
We descended upon the Vanderwende Farm Creamery in the first 15 minutes that it was open on June 21, 2016. There were five vehicles, seven adults and 14 children, plus a handicapped adult in a wheelchair. The kids got ice cream and most of the adults did, too. We had a blast. Had to stop in today for the first time, you definitely get your bang for your buck and then some, will be spreading the word, AWESOME PLACE!!!
