Dr Hood is just as bad as LeClere....he does not listen ...i have an acute injury but no one wants to help with my hip.
Dr. Patel is amazing! My experience was great from the first visit to the follow-up visit. His surgical skills are excellent, as well as his entire team. I felt welcomed and like a priority throughout the whole process. I definitely recommend him to everyone! I also appreciate everyone at the Vanderbilt Wilson County Surgery Center and the anesthesia team, they were so caring and kind. I am healing nicely and am thankful for them all!
Dr. Patel done Carpel Tunnel Surgery on both my hands. He was extremely caring and personable. Very concerned and tentative about the pain I was having. He is very personable and easy to talk to. He takes his time explaining everything to you. I have had no trouble after both surgeries and would highly recommend him!!!!

I was referred to Dr. Patel last year because I had an injury to my shoulder and neck area and was in excruciating pain and could barely use my right side and hand. I was having shooting, stabbing, throbbing pain that started in my shoulder and elbow and was in my neck and went down to my hand. First off Dr. Patel didn't listen to me. He sits on his 300 thousand dollar salary and invalidates little me and it doesn't even matter..I paid Vanderbilt almost 1000$ OOP just to literally be broken down with no relief and no resolut... read more
